A while back, I had the opportunity to photograph Marissa & Matt’s wedding at The Ryland Inn in Whitehouse Station, New Jersey. I had the pleasure of second shooting for Mekina Saylor many times this year and was so lucky to work closely with her amazing couples. This was no exception. 

Marissa & Matt’s wedding day started with the most perfect weather. It was warm & sunny & they were both super excited and relaxed to be getting married. I loved the detailing on Matt’s custom suit and the way he & his mom smiled at each other with so much joy! Marissa’s bridesmaids were so attentive and sweet and take a look at their faces when they saw Marissa for the first time as a bride! 

Marissa walked half way down the aisle solo, only to be joined by both of her parents for her last few steps towards Matt.  The lush greenery and candlelight created such a warm atmosphere inside the Ryland Inn, while guests enjoyed fire pits, lawn games, and smores on the patio. 

The night was wrapped up with some performances by the groomsmen, the bride & her girl scout troop, and a sparkler exit! So fun!
