Liz and Ryan first started dating in high school.  They were even each other’s prom dates at the Imperia in Somerset, NJ, and have been by each other’s side for every day since. Liz described their long road together as “years of love and happiness”. 

I finally got to meet this happy couple at Heckscher State Park in East Islip, NY and we had a blast photographing their engagement session!

Upon meeting them at the park, I immediately thanked them for making the drive out to Long Island for their engagement session. Liz’ reply instantly made me so thrilled that I get to be their wedding photographer. She said that the drive was totally fine, because they got to be together for that whole time anyway. How sweet is that!?

It was a cloudy day with a few minutes of rain here and there, but these two were such troopers! We toured the parks many areas visiting the beach, park, and dock. 

Liz & Ryan will be getting married this Decemeber at her family church, St. Francis of Assisi Cathedral in Metuchen, NJ and celebrating their reception at the Imperia- the same place they danced together at prom!
