I met Jeannie & Chris for their engagement session at the High Line in NYC. If you live in New York and haven’t visited- GO! The High Line is a 1.45-mile-long elevated park right in the middle on Manhattan.  In the hustle and bustle of the city, there stands an oasis of greenery, overlooking all the action.  I had always wanted to visit the High Line, but never made it happen.  So being able to photograph a gorgeous couple there was just a dream! 

Jeannie & Chris met in college through mutual friends. After years of dating, Chris surprised Jeannie one day and told her he had won money at a casino and was taking her out shopping. ( Perfect day right?) When they arrived in Hoboken, she was shocked to find their families at the park. When Chris got down on one knee, Jeannie could hardly believe it. (Ring>Shoes!)

Jeannie said “YES!” in front of their family and friends and they began planing their June 2018 wedding. 

We met at the High Line entrance and walked through just about the entire park. Gorgeous views, the setting sun, and unseasonably cool weather made for a perfect day! Jeannie has the BEST smile and I loved watching the way that Chris looked at Jeannie.  Even though we were surrounded by tourists, it was like they were there completely alone.
