I first came across NJ Spark on Instagram. When I first began shooting weddings, I connected with Amy Rizzuto and began second shooting for her. She invited me to my first Spark event where I met Mekina, Cassi, Jaine, Leandra, Cinnamon, Debbie, and Ash. We ate together, prayed together, and shot updated headshots of each other by the Iconic Brooklyn Bridge.  It was a wonderful experience to be around a group of girls that shared so many common interests, most importantly my love for photography and Jesus! Since that day, these girls have become an incredible support team. When I reached out to the group to discuss posing, it apparently lit a spark in Jessica Oh, which eventually led to this amazing workshop. The email for the workshop hit my inbox a few weeks later, and I was the FIRST person to sign up! 

The Ignite Workshop, lead by NJ Spark was incredible. I packed up the car and drove 2 hours in a near blizzard to be there. I think I smiled the whole way there. Snuggled in Jess’ cozy farm house (complete with real ducks and hot chocolate!) I met some amazing new friends and learned so much! They covered album design, blogging, client meetings, second shooting, following your dreams, and authentic posing. After class, we headed out into the snow for an amazing styled shoot!  The snow made everything so dreamy and it was incredible to watch everyone come together to create magic!
